The Department of Regional Health Research (IRS) has a diverse and wide range of expertise among its research-active staff. From PhD students to professors, the department covers a broad spectrum of disciplines, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, pharmacists, and many others.

There are also affiliated students, adjunct professors, and visiting researchers at IRS, which contributes to a dynamic and varied research environment. Approximately 18 PhD students are enrolled each year, and currently, there are 130 PhD students associated with the Department of Regional Health Research.
