Save the date! Reflection Seminar on March 6, 2026
We are delighted to invite colleagues interested in Narrative Medicine to a one-day seminar on the topic of reflection in medical teaching. Our keynote speaker is Harriet Cooper with a talk entitled “How can reflective practice make space for students’ vulnerability? ‘Confidence culture’ and ‘obligatory vulnerability’ in UK medical education”

Harriet Cooper is Lecturer in Medical Education (Sociology, Medical and Health Humanities), Course Director for MA Medical and Health Humanities, MB BS Sociology Theme Lead, Year 3 Reflective Practice Lead, GEM Medical Humanities Co-lead at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia, UK.
Call for Papers for a special issue on ”Literature and Health in the 21 Century” in the journal Humanities.
What is the use of literature in view of today’s health challenges? This Special Issue focuses on the European region and invites papers that explore current challenges in health, well-being, and healthcare as represented in literature.
Guest editors are Anita Wohlmann (University of Southern Denmark) and Anders Juhl Rasmussen (Copenhagen University).
The submission deadline is June 1, 2026.
