Workshop: Using RoB 2 in assessing risk of bias in randomised trials 2022

When: December 7th 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm

Where:  J.B. Winsløws Vej in Odense, the exact building and room to be determined

We will host an introductory workshop on the revised Cochrane tool to assess risk of bias in randomised studies of interventions (RoB 2). The workshop introduces participants to the methods for assessing risk of bias in randomised trials. We will focus on the recently revised Cochrane tool known as RoB 2, which is recommended by Cochrane to assess risk of bias in randomised trials included in Cochrane Reviews. We will provide an overview of the concept of bias and introduce the RoB 2 domains and the principles for using the tool. The workshop consists of a mix of instructions and workshop activities and include time for exercises on how to use the tool to assess risk of bias in a specific trial.

Workshop fee

The workshop is free of charge for Danish researchers conducting a Cochrane Review, persons otherwise associated with Cochrane in Denmark, researchers from Department of Clinical Research at SDU, and researchers from Odense University Hospital. Others are charged a fee of DKK 2000.
