About

The Mathematics Learning Lab consists of a diverse group of members, all of whom specialize in mathematics education.

Dorte Moeskær Larsen is the head of the group.

The laboratory also includes three PhD students: Maiken Westen Holm Svendsen, Katrine von Bornemann Hjelmborg, and Søren Krogh Hansen.

Maiken W. H. Svendsen’s research focuses on holistic approaches to assessment in mathematics, Søren Krogh Hansen investigates the role of mathematics in early childhood education, and Katrine von Bornemann Hjelmborg conducts research on the development of university mathematics didactics.

The laboratory also benefits from the expertise of emeritus mathematician Keith Devlin, adjunct professor at FNUG and a renowned mathematician.

From FNUG, several individuals will be involved, including mathematicians from IMADA, Center Director Connie Svabo, and others with an interest in mathematics education.
