Research Unit of General Practice

Health promotion and prevention

The aim is to improve population health, reduce the burden of disease, and create conditions that make it easier for people to lead healthy lives.

The work encompasses both the development and evaluation of preventive interventions, as well as understanding the importance of structural, social, and organizational factors in achieving and maintaining good health.

This work is carried out in collaboration with individuals, relatives, general practitioners, municipalities, hospitals, social services, organizations, and civil society.

This broad involvement ensures relevant and sustainable solutions that strengthen continuity across care pathways and support the prevention of disease and loss of functional ability.
