FAQ about NNF Scholarship

There are two application deadlines each year: 

  • 20th of February
  • 1st of August
No, but you need to describe how the project fits into your master's programme. 
Please contact your own university and your study programme responsible.

Yes, you can still apply - but only for the remaining period of the project.

The scholarship cannot be paid retroactively.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation does not allow other work during the grant period.

Applications can be submitted by supervisors planning a research project with a student.

The student must be enrolled at a Danish faculty of health, in a study, which allows only a short master's thesis/research project of up to 30 ECTS.
