Our lab carries out basic and applied research aimed at understanding and remediating hearing-related problems. We work on topics related to auditory perception, hearing diagnostics, and assistive technologies. In laboratory studies, we investigate basic principles and explore new ideas. By moving our research out of the lab, we make sure it is relevant for audiological practice. To achieve our aims, we test participants with and without sensory impairments and collaborate with academic, clinical, and industrial partners.
