Our lab works on topics broadly related to sensory deficits, diagnostic testing, and hearing aids. In laboratory studies, we investigate basic principles and explore new ideas (e.g., with hearing aid simulators). By moving our research out of the lab (e.g., with wearable devices), we make sure it is relevant for audiological practice. To achieve our goals, we test participants with and without sensory impairments and collaborate with various academic, industrial, and clinical partners.
