Our lab carries out research at the intersection of technical and clinical audiology, with a focus on topics related auditory perception, hearing diagnostics, and hearing technology. In laboratory studies, we investigate basic principles and explore new ideas (e.g., with hearing aid simulators). By moving our research out of the lab (e.g., with wearable devices), we make sure it is relevant for audiological practice. To achieve our goals, we test participants with and without sensory deficits and collaborate with academic, industrial, and clinical partners.
