The Research Unit OPEN is established as a cooperation between the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital.
Focus is on epidemiology including register research, biostatistics and patient-perceived quality issues in health care, as well as advanced methods for solving complec health care problems. In addition, research is focused on improving public health in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world.
Our research unit has a dedicated and talented staff of researchers and PhD students.
We collaborate with other research units and departments regionally, nationally and internationally.
