New biostatician at OPEN

February 1st 2016, Sören Möller is affiliated with OPEN as a biostatician

Sören Möller received his MSc. in mathematics in 2011 and his PhD in mathematics in 2013 from the University of Southern Denmark. He started working as a biostatician at OPEN and assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Research on February 1st, 2016 after having worked 2014-2016 as Postdoc and later assistant professor of biostatistics at the Department of Public Health, SDU. Sören has worked with epidemiological research using health registries, especially focusing on survival analysis, and has consulted and supported clinical researcher in statistical methods for clinical research. Furthermore, during the last few years he taught biostatistical methods and the use of STATA and R for carrying out statistical analyses.

At OPEN, Sören will work closely with our epidemiologists on register based studies. Moreover, he will support OPEN's clients with statistical consulting for planning and carrying out their research projects and he will take part in teaching OPEN's PhD-courses and workshops.

Sören will be a part of the OPEN Advice Group and can be contacted via OPEN.
