Peter Bjødstrup Jensen - new SQL data manager

Peter was employed as data manager for OPEN on December 1st 2013...

Peter Bjødstrup Jensen will, in close collaboration with OPEN's clinical-epidemilogical employees, be responsible for development and maintenance of OPENs SQL-research databases. Furthermore he will participate in requisition, data entry and analytic preparation of data from the national health registries for research purposes, sometimes including data linkage with clinical databases, biobanks and user-entered data. Moreover Peter will contribute when reporting and publishing research results.

Peter Bjødstrup Jensen is educated MSc. in biophysics in 2008, subsequently Peter has been employed at Research Service at the Danish Health and Medicines Authority, where he guided researchers, programmed data extractions from the national health registries and was responsible for registrations in the Danish Health Insurance Registry. In December 2009 Peter was enrolled as a PhD-student at the Novo Nordic Foundation Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen, the PhD-project was entitled: Electronic Health Records for Data-driven Biomedical Research. The PhD-defense took place at the end of 2013.
