Katrine Hass Rubin – new specialist of register-based research

OPEN expands with a specialist of register-based research 1st of May 2017

Katrine Hass Rubin is from the 1st of May 2017 employed as a specialist of register-based research in OPEN (60%) parallel with her current employment in OPEN as associate professor of epidemiology and register-based research (40%).

OPEN wishes to expand the facility OPEN Registry by developing a new structure where the aim is to promote register-based research and facilitate better use of local, regional and national databases and already existing clinical cohorts enriched with register data.

Katrine Hass Rubin will in this employment be working with establishing this structure, which hopefully contributes to better knowledge of the many possibilities within register-based research among researchers. She will do this, partly by guiding researchers through the process of register-based research, partly by assisting each researcher when working with register data. Partly, also, by contributing with datamanagement and analysis of register data as well as courses and workshops aimed at the researchers’ need of knowledge and ability to do register-based research.

Katrine will continuously be a part of OPEN Advice and can be contacted through OPEN.
