Our world is facing major challenges regarding food security.
Today, around 7 billion people live on Earth. By 2050 it will be around 10 billion people.
This population growth will lead to an increased demand for food – but less than 7% of our land can be cultivated for farming or animal pastures.
Julia Bronnmann believes that our oceans can help if we find a smarter, more responsible, and sustainable way to manage our marine resources.
