DDA symposium on co-morbidities in diabetes

Maja Thiele from FLASH co-chairs session on liver related co-morbidities.

FLASH is co-organizing a symposium on type 2 diabetes comorbidities. Maja Thiele will chair the session on fatty liver diseases, with contributions from our good collaborators:

Prof. Christina Legido-Quigley from Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Prof Neil Guha from Nottingham University and associate professor Hannes Hagström from Karolinska.

Danish Diabetes Academy organizes the two days symposium and presents an excellent faculty of international researchers who will elucidate and critically review new evidence and existing problems covering diabetic complications in the kidneys, the eyes, the heart and the liver. Both basic science and clinical evidence within pathophysiology, epidemiology and treatment will be thoroughly discussed and in an interactive forum participants will be asked to discuss and critically engage in the presentations, in order to be inspired with new ideas for their own research, make new connections and networking.

The Symposium takes place on 14-15 August 2019 at Sinatur Hotel Storebælt, Østerøvej 121, 5800 Nyborg, Denmark. For more information follow this link to DDA.
