FLASH disseminated knowledge about the liver at the Festival of Research 2023 at SDU
More than 500 participants visited our event to learn about the liver
Every year in April, the Festival of Research takes place throughout Denmark. As part of this event, SDU invited people to attend more than 40 different events where both children and adults could learn more about all the research taking place in Odense.
FLASH was well represented at the Festival of Research as well. We had an event where curious attendees could learn about the function of the liver, how many people gets statotic liver diseases, and how to take care of your liver. Additionally, we had focus on alchol consumption and the effect in the body while bindge drinking and why hangovers follows. Participants could touch a real liver from a pig and see our fibro scanner. It was a very well-visited event with many good questions from the participants. We look forward to more interesting conversations next year.
