FLASH scientist awarded prestigious European prize
Maja Thiele was selected for this years ’Rising Star’ award by United European Gastroenterology, the European association for gastroenterology.
The Rising Star prize is awarded annually to 10 European scientists who early in their career have made significant contributions to gastroenterology and hepatology by conducting research of high impact and international caliber. The European Association for the Study of the Liver nominated Maja Thiele for the award based on her work on non-invasive tests for early detection of alcohol-related liver disease. All prize recipients will give an invited talk at UEG Week October 8.-11., 2022 in Vienna.
