Olivia completed her Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine at The University of Copenhagen in 2019. She carried out her Master’s Thesis in the lab of Zach Gerhart-Hines where she developed a strong passion for brown adipose metabolism.
During her training in the Gerhart-Hines Group, Olivia obtained extensive experience in mouse metabolic phenotyping and adipocyte cell culture and established a novel role of G protein-coupled receptor 3 in murine and human brown adipocytes.
