Danish Choice Modelling Day 2012

In 2011 the first ever Danish Choice Modelling Day (DCMD) was held at University of Southern Denmark, Odense. The purpose of the day was to create a forum for choice modellers in Denmark, where they could gather and exchange ideas and experiences from their work with choice modelling.

The DCMD is a networking arrangement for choice modellers from all areas of research, i.e. transportation, environmental economics, health economics, econometrics etc. where the focal point is development and application of the method rather than developments within the research areas themselves.

It has been decided that the DCMD will be held every year with University of Southern Denmark hosting the event. The format can differ from year to year but will always include distinguished key note speakers from the choice modelling arena.

It is our intention that the DCMD will be the rallying ground for choice modellers in Denmark and the DCMD is expected to create synergy effects for all participating units due to broadened collaboration across different fields of research.
