The Centre for Quantum Mathematics is an integral part of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark. Our researchers perform research in mathematics with relations to quantum theory, covering both foundations as well as various applications such as quantum computing (quantum software).
We are affiliated to the Danish Institute for Advanced Study, as Centre Director Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen has been appointed DIAS Chair of Quantum Mathematics.
QM is involved in several smaller and larger research projects funded from both Danish, European and American – private and governmental funds.
The company Qpurpose was founded by Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen in 2022.
