Computational Thinking in Danish High Schools

Working with Computational Thinking in Danish High Schools

At SDU in Kolding, we work with high school teachers to develop their skills in bringing in Computational Thinking in their teaching across subject domains.

The course involves a two day workshop as well as a follow up reflection seminar.

The teachers are introduced to theory behind computational thinking and pedagogics as well as practise in working with computational thinking in a broad sense. CT in all fields are represented; humanities, social studies, science and technology.

In January 2019 we held our first courses with The Digital High Schools - five high schools from the south of Denmark - and we continued our second roll in November 2019.

We end the second role with a reflection seminar for the high school teachers to come and present their work and experiences. It takes place the 17th of April and it is open for everyone! Find the more information as well as the registration here.
