Welcome to the Danish Molecular Biomedical Imaging Center (DaMBIC), a bioimaging core facility at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark.

The DaMBIC core facility provides access to state-of-the-art microscopy equipment, training and assistance required for the whole range of light microscopy for imaging specimens ranging from single molecules to cells, tissue and small animals. Exemplary case studies:

Bioimaging:

  • Automated image acquisition and analysis
  • Widefield and confocal immunofluorescence
  • Co-localization studies
  • Calcium ions and pH measurements in tissue and cells

Spatial Transcriptomics:

  • MERFISH (Multiplexed error-robust fluorescence in-situ hybridization)
  • 10X Visium Spatial Gene Expression slides

Live Cell/Tissue imaging:

  • Cell tracking in 2D and 3D
  • Diffusion measurements in tissue
  • Transport measurements in cells and membranes
  • Multi-photon imaging of resistance arteries
  • Multi-photon of small animals

Super-resolution:

  • Super-resolution of tight junction proteins
  • Drug delivery systems
