The SDU Centre for Computer Science and AI is part of SDU Vejle and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, University of Southern Denmark.
The Centre brings together research and education across different areas of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a particular focus on the next generation of software and intelligent systems and on how AI, data and advanced algorithms can transform the way digital systems are specified, designed, developed, validated, deployed and operated.
As part of the build-up in Vejle, the Centre will also strengthen research and education in data analytics, machine learning and algorithms engineering, creating a strong foundation for developing data-driven, intelligent and efficient digital solutions.
Research and education are closely connected. Current research and emerging technologies are integrated into teaching, giving students opportunities to work with contemporary challenges and engage with researchers and industry throughout their studies.
The Centre provides an international and collaborative environment and hosts several research activities and groups, including SustainAI, focusing on the sustainability and evolution of AI-driven systems.
Located in the Triangle Region, we work closely with companies, public organisations and international research partners, connecting scientific research, education and innovation.
