  • I study the biological understanding of maladaptive neuropsychiatric diseases such as: anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress syndrome. As well as the pharmacological and biological effects of novel treatment options.
  • I am very experienced within translational pharmacology, in vitro kinetics, preclinical PK/PD, in vivo imaging, animal models and behavioral pharmacology. I have experience from multiple disease areas, with my main interest being neuropsychiatry.
  • I am often engaged in public outreach, a cited expert in the public media, public presentation and have appearances in several scientific documentaries.
  • I take mentoring and leadership very seriously, I enjoy leading a diverse team, take pride in developing the next generation of excellent scientists and have a positive attitude towards a healthy work-life balance for all.
