Ulrich Heide Køhler - New data manager at OPEN

OPEN expands with another data manager per 1st February 2015

Ulrich Heide Køhler received his MSc. in Economics in 2001 and has since 1999 worked with finance, planning and development in the health sector. This was until 2008, when he was hired as a data manager in the Clinical Research Unit at Department of Oncology, Odense University Hospital. Here, Ulrich has primarily developed customized database systems for research projects, administrative purposes and electronic CRFs. In addition, Ulrich has performed statistical tasks related to database projects. Ulrich began to develop database systems for the health sector back in 2003 as an external consultant.

At OPEN Ulrich is to be a part of the team working with OPEN’s Redcap database where he, in close collaboration with other data managers, will aim to help researchers manage their projects in Redcap. This involves composition of research projects, supporting the use of Redcap with user guide and in-depth knowledge of OPEN's system along with the other data managers. He will also contribute to the maintenance and development of OPEN’s Redcap environment and assist researchers with complex extraction from the system and transfer of data to the Danish Data Archives.
