New PhD-student at OPEN

Stina Meyer Larsen is affiliated to OPEN as a PhD-student on the project "Development and implementation of a client-centered perspective in the dissemination process of welfare technology for elderly - an action research study"

Stina Meyer Larsen is an occupational therapist and is employed as a lecturer at University College Lillebælt. In recent years, Stina has, mainly, been working on development projects and thus has experience of project work in several municipal rehabilitation contexts. In November 2014, Stina was enrolled as a PhD-student at OPEN, Odense University Hospital/University of Southern Denmark. In her PhD-project, Stina is examining elderly citizen’s perspective on the processes of change in daily life through adoption of welfare technology. Furthermore, she is examining the significance of the citizen’s perspective on the processes of change in field-professional dissemination of welfare technology. The intention is to develop and implement knowledge based and client-centered dissemination of welfare technology to elderly.
