Odense Patient data Explorative Network (OPEN) is looking for a project coordinator and quality responsible

OPEN (Odense Patient data Explorative Network) was established in 2008 and is an organisation in sturdy growth. OPEN is a research infrastructure and an offer to departments and research units at Odense University Hospital (OUH) and Department of Clinical Research, on guidance, centralised sample handling and data registration of research projects. OPEN admitted and adviced more than 100 new research projects in 2015.

As a part of OUH’s research strategy, OPEN is further expanded, among others, with increased help for GCP-regulated clinical trials and the establishment of a clinical trials unit. Therefore, we need a dedicated and service minded co-worker, who can guide researchers and help with procedures and authorizations. You will also become responsible for OPEN’s quality system, incl. approval of SOP’s, change controls, validation protocols and more. Furthermore, you will, in close collaboration with the head of OPEN, the project coordinator/research secretary and other co-workers participate in the planning of OPEN’s day-to-day running’s and OPEN’s development.

Your working areas are…

  • to expand and be responsible for OPEN’s guidance of GCP-regulated trials
  • to participate in the coordination of OPEN’s data management services
  • to be responsible for OPEN’s quality system
  • to participate in OPEN’s day-to-day running’s
  • to contribute to OPEN’s continued development
  • to contribute to OPEN’s external activities, incl. meeting participation and teaching

We expect that…

  • you have experience and interest for research within health sciences, either as a PhD, researcher, research secretary, project nurse, GCP-employee or similar
  • you have knowledge of and interest for quality control and, preferably, with GCP
  • you are extrovert with good contact and impact
  • you are good at communication and guidance on many different levels
  • you are service minded, reliable and have a large professional foundation
  • you can work effortlessly in English in an international research environment
  • you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office and, preferably, knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
