New PhD-student at OPEN

Debbie Salling Norring-Agerskov is affiliated with OPEN as a PhD-student with the project: "Biochemical and genetic factors as predictors of mortality in hip fracture patients”.

In June 2015, Debbie received her medical degree at the University of Copenhagen. Before starting as a PhD-student, she has worked as specialist registrar at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Amager and Hvidovre Hospital. She was enrolled in OPEN, Department of Clinical Research on February 1st 2016. The project aims to examine specific genetic and biochemical markers' association to mortality after a hip fracture.

Main supervisor is: Professor and consultant Niklas Rye Jørgensen, DMSc, PhD, OPEN, Department of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark.
