Introduction
Today legal employers expect from lawyers to have an insight into and understanding of the digital agenda. Hence, the rapid technological changes call for evolving professional expectations to new lawyers, asking for student preparedness for an AI-enabled workforce. Thus, artificial intelligence and legal technology are not only reshaping the legal profession – it is also transforming legal education itself when addressing the need for tech literacy.
At CLAIR we are interested in how we teach, assess, and prepare future lawyers in this changing landscape, including the integration of AI into curricula, maintaining validity, transparency, and authenticity in legal education assessment.
In this part of the center, we are investigating the opportunities of AI and legal tech enhancing learning, developing future-focused skills, and strengthening the resilience of legal education.
CLAIR is aiming at becoming a leading hub for research and innovation in legal education and the legal profession.
