Jette Ernst starts as Ph.d.-student

Today, the CHI bids the most recent member of the centre welcome. Jette Ernst joins the CHI as Ph.D. student. Over the next three years, she will study how the organisational and cultural dynamics of an emergency medical department affects the quality of treatment and patient safety. The project combines cognitive ethnography à la Hutchins, cultural-sociological thinking à la Bourdieu and interactivity-based methods à la CHI. Project supervisor is Sune Vork Steffensen.
