The 2024 International Climate Conference, held on September 16th - 17th at Alsion in Sonderborg, was the seventh conference in this series to take place in Denmark. With a focus on the strengths of the Danish/German border region, the overall goal was to exchange knowledge about climate challenges, climate change mitigation measures, and how to work most effectively towards 100% climate neutrality in Denmark and around the world.
The 100% Climate Neutrality conference offered an opportunity to learn from the forefront of climate action about political challenges, best practices, integrated technical solutions, and what truly makes a difference at the local municipal and community levels. Participants had the chance to meet, share, and discuss their knowledge, improve their understanding, extend their networks, and become inspired to make Climate Neutrality a reality. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with individuals who are making a difference for the border region, Europe, and the world.
