Alaa Salah Gouda

My scientific research interest is mainly focused on the design, chemical synthesis, and molecular modeling of novel nucleosidic and non-nucleosidic modified oligonucleotides to stabilize and modulate DNA architectures for nucleic acid-based therapeutics and diagnostics. Currently, my study zone aims to explore the catalytic activity of epigenetic enzymes towards synthetic DNA/RNA substrates at the molecular level for better understanding of brain diseases.
