LIFE ACT: Climate Action in Communities

LIFE ACT is an ambitious climate project with a budget of 212 million DKK, aimed at turning municipal climate action plans into concrete action across 27 partner municipalities. Through joint efforts and strong local anchoring, the project supports the development and dissemination of practical solutions that strengthen both the green transition and society’s resilience to climate change.

With seven thematic work packages as its core, LIFE ACT brings together local action and research-based knowledge. The initiatives cover a wide range of areas, from solar energy and nature-based solutions to land use, heatwaves, and citizen engagement, and the project acts as a driving force for cross-sector collaboration and effective climate action across the country.
