• The application

  To apply for a position at the University of Southern Denmark, we kindly ask you to fill in the requested information and to enclose your cover letter, resumé, and other relevant information. Your cover letter (application) and all attachments must be in pdf-format. All documents in connection with the application should not contain CPR number (civil registration number) – in that case, the CPR number must be crossed out. All fields marked * MUST be filled in. Unless otherwise specified in the job announcement, application and appendices must be in Danish or English.

  Please remember to press 'apply' at the bottom of the page to submit your application. Your application has not been registered until you have received an e-mail from us confirming the receipt of your application.

  NB. If you are not a Danish speaking applicant, please make sure to enter the electronic application form via the English website. You do so by clicking the English flag at the top of the page, click on “vacant positions” and find the position you are interested in. This way the electronic application form will be in English and the automated e-mails you will receive will also be in English.

• The application deadline

  Your application must be registered in our system on the indicated date no later than 23.59 CET/CEST.

  If you experience technical problems, the error must be reported to hcm-support@sdu.dk before the application deadline expires at 23.59 CET/CEST with a description of the problem and a screen shot of the error.

  
  
• Appendices

  Please note that we only accept files in pdf-format no more than 5 MB per file. If you want to attach larger documents, these must be uploaded under "Miscellaneous documents”. All pdf-files must be unlocked and allow binding and may not be password protected. All documents in connection with the application should not contain CPR number (civil registration number) – in that case, the CPR number must be crossed out.

  The maximum number of PDFs that can be uploaded under "Miscellaneous documents" is 10.

• Receipt

  When your application has been registered in our database you will receive a receipt on the e-mail you indicated in the application form.

• I have noticed a mistake in the submitted application, what do I do?

  You can log into your profile here and edit your personal information.

  Please note, if you upload a new cover letter or CV in your profile, this will only be updated in your profile, i.e. this does not change the cover letter or CV you have included in the job vacancies you have applied for.

  If you wish to upload a new cover letter or CV in a job vacancy you have applied for, you need to withdraw your application and apply again. This is done by clicking Status and select "withdraw application"

  
  If you notice a mistake in your application after the application deadline, we regrettably have to inform you that we do not accept corrections or further documents submitted after the application deadline, and you will therefore be assessed on the application and documents originally submitted.
  
  If you chose “delete my profile”, your entire profile will be deleted from the recruitment portal. I.e. all your applications will be deleted from all the active positions you have applied for.
  
  If you wish to apply for a position at the university again, you just to create a new profile in the recruitment portal.

  
  
• I have previously applied for a position and wish to apply for another position

   The recruitment system saves a copy of your cover letter and CV in your profile. If you apply for another position, you can replace the files in the new application without removing them from your previous application.

  
  
• I have submitted my application to the e-mail specified in the job advertisement, but I have not received a receipt, what do I do?

  Your application will only be registered in our database when you submit your application through the application form. In case the application deadline has not expire, we advice you to submit your application through our recruitment system after which you will receive a receipt.

  In case the application deadline has expired, we regrettably have to inform you that your application is not registered in our database, and you are therefore not among the applicants for the desired position.

  SDU can collect and use publicly available information that the applicant has published about themselves, as well as SDU can collect and use information that others have published about the applicant.
