Background / Experience:
I am a trained radiographer with a specialization in radiotherapy and hold a master’s degree in health science. I have several years of research experience within osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease and have collaborated with researchers in Denmark, Sweden, England, and the USA. My primary research approach is register-based research using the Danish national health registers.
Field of interest:
My main research interest is osteoporosis, where I have worked on national and international studies focusing on detection, prevalence, and disease development. I have a particular interest in mapping diseases and healthcare utilization, as well as in the validation and optimization of register-based research more broadly.
