The purpose of the work package is to support municipalities in developing better energy plans that facilitate knowledge sharing and promote green solutions across the country.
How this is achieved
- A platform for knowledge sharing on strategic energy plans is established, enabling municipalities across the country to collaborate on energy planning and the development of energy packages.
- The focus is directed towards strengthening and embedding a culture of energy efficiency in connection with new construction in the municipalities.
- The possibilities for the responsible use of local surplus heat are developed and tested through concrete collaborations and solutions that consider climate, people, and economy.
The City of Aarhus is responsible for the work package in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark. The following municipalities are participating in the work package: Herning, Høje-Taastrup, Kalundborg, Copenhagen, Lemvig, Lyngby-Taarbæk, Mariagerfjord, Middelfart, Næstved, Randers, Ringsted, Skive, and Aarhus.
