The purpose of this work package is to support municipalities in making agriculture and forestry greener through local solutions, collaboration, and climate compensation.
How it is done
- Strengthening political collaboration on climate action for agriculture and forestry.
- Developing climate-conscious systems and practices in agriculture in collaboration with local farmers and relevant stakeholders.
- Enhancing sustainable forestry through afforestation initiatives across the country via local efforts.
The University of Southern Denmark is responsible for the work package in collaboration with Middelfart Municipality. The following municipalities are participating in the work package: Brønderslev, Herning, Hjørring, Horsens, Kalundborg, Morsø, Odsherred, Ringkøbing-Skjern, Ringsted, Samsø, Skive, Thisted, Varde, Aalborg, and Aarhus.
