The topic

The community as the target of nurses' care has different needs from those identified in individuals and families. The Community Evaluation, Intervention and Empowerment Model (CAIEM) allows a community-based approach as a client and has a clinical decision matrix that, from diagnosis to outcome evaluation, guides nursing care to the community-oriented for Community Empowerment as a process and as a result. Is therefore a potential reference model in areas such as School Health, Public Health and Occupational Health or even to approach the Hospital as a community.
