The hospital management has chosen to showcase research and stimulate and develop the hospitals' research potential by establishing a research unit that will ensure the connection between the hospital management, the research council, and the researchers.
Research at the Næstved, Slagelse Ringsted Hospitals is carried out by employees from the hospitals in Næstved, Ringsted, and Slagelse. The research is anchored at the University of Southern Denmark through the Department of Regional Health Research and is conducted in accordance with strategies set by the Research Council at Næstved Hospital.
