I completed my master's degree in medicine in June 2018 and have since gained experience working in various medical roles. These include positions in the orthopedic emergency department, the pathology department, and as a general practitioner.

September 2021 I started as a clinical assistant at KMEB, expanding my skills in project management, participant recruitment and in taking bone-biopsies in projects investigating humane Bone-Marrow derived Mesenchymal Stromal (stem) Cell (BM-MSC) heterogeneity.

January 2023 I started as PhD student and co-investigator in the project, SENolytics to Improve Osteoporosis treatment: a Randomized controlled trial, the SENIOR trial. The aim of this open-label randomised clinical trial is to study osteoporosis as a disease of accelerated skeletal aging caused by accumulation of senescent cells within the skeleton and investigate the effects and safety of senolytics and antioxidant therapy on bone.

The principal investigator of this project is my main supervisor professor Moustapha Kassem.

Professor Morten Frost and associate professor Alexander Rauch are both my co-supervisors.

My spare time I spend with family, playing music or building/repairing something which I enjoy.
