My project focused on developing a theoretical model for describing photo-physical properties of platinum complexes, which have potential as anti-cancer drugs or biomarkers. This involved exploring methods for modelling relativistic effects and assessing their importance in spectral calculations, both for isolated complexes and those intercalated in DNA.
