Laboratory Animal Science - legislation for persons with a foreign qualification

Course description

If you have not participated in a recognized Danish experimental animal course, and are planning to be responsible for or participate in animal experiments your qualification needs to be approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. This requires that you have participated in module on Danish legislation. This course offers such a module, and after concluding this course, you will be able to apply for dispensation from § 56 or § 57 of the Executive Order on Animal Experiments.

Knowledge of Danish legislation related to animal experiments.

Online self-study via e-learn.

Course fee

The course is free of charge for PhD students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark and other PhD students enrolled in Universities that have joined the "Open market agreement".

The course fee for all other participants is DKK 4,157,73.
