Analytical work in qualitative and ethnographic health research

Content and aim of this seminar

The aim of the course is to promote and facilitate an understanding of analytical work in qualitative and ethnographic health research. Analytical work is hard work, but it is also creative and playful work.  In this PhD course we will present, explore, and reflect on different ways of conducting qualitative analyses.  We will address questions such as: What is a good qualitative analysis? What do we mean by theory and theoretical work, and how does theory influence our analysis and vice versa?  Furthermore, we will consider analysis as writing, and we will discuss quality in qualitative health research.

Please send 10-15 lines about your project and how you will benefit from the course to phd@health.sdu.dk before the date, stated in your confirmation email.
