Important information before you enroll in a employee course

  • Remember to get your manager’s approval – Before registering, you must get approval from your manager.
  • How your unit pays for the course – For courses with fees, you must provide the EAN no. and the name of the orderer (financial manager for your unit/department/section).
  • You can join a waiting list – You can join a waiting list if there are no more available places on the course. You will receive an automatic place reservation when the first place becomes available. Please make sure to accept the place reservation within one day, otherwise the place will go to the next person on the waiting list.
  • If I am unable to attend - If you are unable to attend a course, you can unsubscribe before the registration deadline at the bottom of the confirmation email so that another colleague can take your place. In the event of sudden illness on the day of the course, please notify us via org@sdu.dk. For courses with fees, the fee is not refundable in the event of cancellation after the registration deadline.
  • What are the catering options for the course?
    • Less than 3 hours: No catering
    • Three-hour courses: Coffee/tea and water will be provided during the course
    • Full-day courses: Coffee/tea and water will be available in the morning and afternoon. Lunch will be provided and includes mineral water
  • Course certificate – You will receive your course certificate by email when you have attended at least 80% of the teaching. Certificates are not issued for online courses.
  • Course evaluation – After the course, all participants receive an evaluation form by email. The evaluation is important, as it is used as a basis for planning future courses.
  • New courses – New and duplicate courses will be offered on an ongoing basis.
  • Use of your data – Your name and other data relating to course enrolment is used for participant lists and statistics about SDU’s employee courses.
