At the Centre for Research in Childhood Health (RICH), we work with a wide range of national and international partners, including research institutions, public authorities, schools, municipalities, and organizations.
Through these collaborations, we contribute to the development and conduct of high-quality research, with a particular focus on how physical activity, sleep, and screen use affect the health of children and adolescents.
Examples of collaborations:
- The Danish Health Authority: Systematic literature reviews focusing on screen use and physical activity among children.
- Screen-Free Time with Friends: A research project with municipalities and schools to develop and evaluate an intervention designed to increase schoolchildren’s participation in physically active communities.
- Generation Healthy Kids: A research collaboration with schools to evaluate a comprehensive intervention aimed at promoting health and well-being among younger schoolchildren.
- The Odense Child Cohort study: Objective measurement of physical activity and screen use.
- The European Youth Heart Study: An international research collaboration on physical activity and risk factors for cardiovascular disease among children and adolescents.
-
RICH is part of the Exercise Epidemiology (EXE) research unit.
EXE conducts research on physical activity, sleep, and screen use, with a focus on measurement methods, population trends, health outcomes, and school-based interventions.
