The idea of the new collaboration is to foster the strengths of Danish and German Engineering programme at the Mads Clausen Institute (MCI) and the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences (FUAS). Students who finish a specific bachelor degree at the FUAS, and a master degree at the MCI, may qualify for an additional certificate.
The following course combinations qualify for this programme:
- Bachelor Energiewissenschaften (FUAS) in combination with Master in Engineering - Innovation and Business (MCI)
- Bachelor Maschinenbau (FUAS) in combination with Master in Engineering - Innovation and Business (MCI)
- Bachelor Energiewissenschaften (FUAS) in combination with Master in Mechatronics – profile power electronics (MCI)
- Bachelor Maschinenbau (FUAS) in combination with Master in mechatronics – profile embedded control systems (MCI)
- Bachelor Angewandte Informatik (FUAS) in combination with Master in mechatronics – profile embedded control systems (MCI)
For this, one each of the following requirements has to be fulfilled:
1a) The master thesis has a topic linked to the German-Danish border region
or
1b) The master thesis is written with a company from the German-Danish border region
2a) The student completed internships or study projects both in a German and a Danish company within his Bachelor and/or Master education
or
2b) A professor from FUAS is involved in a study or thesis project of the master thesis
A committee consisting of two delegates from FUAS and two delegates from MCI acknowledges the fulfilment of the requirements. Each student will receive a certificate that acknowledges the achievements to be attached to the CV.
The issuing of the certificates will start for qualified candidates by January 2016.
