Ying Qu attended the 25th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems 2021 in Óbuda University, Budapest, Hungary (remotely)

From the 7th to the 9th of July 2021, Ying Qu participated in the 25th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems 2021 in Óbuda University, Budapest, Hungary (online). She presented her paper that is titled “Net Photosynthesis Prediction by Deep Learning for Commercial Greenhouse Production” at the conference. This paper explored to model the relationship of net photosynthesis and three environmental parameters - light level, temperature and CO2 concentration using Deep Learning (DL). a DNN model that is with ReLU activation function and decay LR is determined. Through a comprehensive evaluation of the training speed and the prediction accuracy, the proposed DNN model can perform a dramatically high prediction accuracy in a fast training convergence speed for solving the net photosynthesis prediction problem.
