Lasse holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). While at UCPH, Lasse worked in the laboratory of Ass.Prof. Jacob B. Hansen, studying and creating models for understanding signaling networks in brown adipocytes. He moved to Odense to continue his work on adipocytes as a PhD fellow in the group of Prof. Susanne Mandrup (University of Southern Denmark). During this time, he primarily focused on lipolysis as a signaling nexus in mouse and human adipocytes. He is currently extending his research as an ADIPOSIGN postdoctoral fellow in the group of Susanne Mandrup – with a particular focus on lipolysis as a signaling network in lean and obese adipocyte models and translating this into whole-body physiology.
