Juridisk Institut har indgået en aftale med Universita' Ca' Foscari i Venedig. Den gør, at vi nu kan tilbyde en såkaldt double PhD degree.
Uddannelsen varer tre år ligesom et almindeligt ph.d.-forløb. Du vil blive indskrevet som ph.d.-studerende på SDU (”home institution”) og vil blive tilknyttet Universita' Ca' Foscari (”host institution”). I løbet af de tre år skal du studere 6-18 måneder på universitetet i Venedig.
En af fordelene er, at du får chancen for at drøfte din forskning med dygtige kolleger i hele to velrenommerede retsvidenskabelige universitetsmiljøer. Desuden får du med en double PhD degree skærpet din internationale akademiske profil, hvilket er en fordel, hvad enten du ønsker at fortsætte i eller uden for akademia i såvel Danmark som udlandet.

The Department of Law at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Universita' Ca' Foscari in Venice have agreed on establishing a double PhD degree programme.
The programme takes three years like our traditional PhD programme. You will be enrolled as a PhD student at SDU (“host institution”) and be affiliated with Universita' Ca' Foscari (”host institution”). During the three years, you will be studying from 6 to 18 months at the university in Venice.
One of the advantages of the programme is that you will be able to discuss your research with talented colleagues from no less two acknowledged jurisprudential environments. Furthermore, a double PhD degree will strengthen your international academic profile which will be of advantage to you whether you wish to continue your career in academia or outside of academia – in both Denmark and abroad.
