Birgitte Sloth, Professor of Economics at the Department of Business Management and Economics
Birgitte Sloth is a professor of Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark. She primarily researches game theory and microeconomics, often with a focus on regulation within the environment, transport and energy. She is responsible for the research collaboration across social sciences and humanities in Center Slagelse.
She is a member of the Danish Energy Board of Appeal and the Danish Competition Appeals Board and has previously been member of the Danish Energy Commission (2016-2017), the Danish Energy Regulator (2015-2018) the Productivity Commission (2012-14), the Danish Commission on Nature and Agriculture (2012-2013) and the Danish Economic Council (2007-2013).
