SDU Green Labs sends a sustainable signal to the outside world and gives users a better self-understanding
In 2021, SDU earned its first Green Lab certifications. The certifications are issued by My Green Lab and have allowed lab users at SDU to work with what they deem most relevant in terms of making research and the operation of the laboratories as sustainable as possible. The certifications set a framework, provide self-understanding and help send a sustainable signal to the outside world.

SDU purchases plastic granulator – it would not have been possible without broad collaboration
SDU’s Green Lab project has allowed users of the laboratories to see and address real challenges in their daily walk. One of the project’s focus areas has resulted in the purchase of a plastic granulator. The granulator is a good example of the necessity for and the result of collaboration across SDU’s departments.

SDU is strengthening its facilitation of digital meetings – the aim is to reduce transport to and from Campus
Corona has opened our eyes to the possibilities and forms of digital meetings. Solutions such as Teams and Zoom have never before been used so much at SDU. However, good and effective digital meetings require that the technology works and that the meeting is well prepared and facilitated. Digital meetings are part of the transport package because they can be a solution to reducing SDU’s CO2 emissions in relation to the transport area.
