Climate Plan

Every year, a follow-up of the work on the plan will be carried out in the form of a climate account and an assessment of ongoing efforts. The carbon footprint reports will calculate the University’s carbon footprint from scope 1 and 2 as well as parts of scope 3.

The ongoing follow-up of goals and efforts must make it possible to take into account potential technological advances in, for example, transport and energy production to changing social norms, behaviour and consumer habits.

Based on an involving process with workshops on all campuses, contributions from internal expert group and dialogue with the University Council, HSU, ASU and students (DSIC), a draft climate plan has now been prepared for SDU. The draft will be presented to the Board on December 10, 2021. The draft is in Danish. An English version will be prepared subsequently.
